Created in 1972 the Arab-Italian Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization registered under the number 1 of the Register of foreign-Italian chambers of commerce in Italy, managed by the Ministry of Economic Development.
Its aim is to promote economic cooperation and trade relations between Italy and the 22 countries of the League of Arab States: Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Comoros, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Djibouti, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Syria, Somalia, Sudan, Tunisia, Yemen.
During its 44 years of activity, the Chamber has worked to promote the internationalization of companies, offering them a framework of knowledge and informations as well as specific technical and operational support, for both large and medium-sized to small and micro enterprises.
Its relations and the multiple agreements with authorities and institutions, agencies and research institutes, with business organizations and chambers of commerce are functional to this aim, like the collaboration agreements with Simest, Invitalia, business networks, banking and financial institutions.
Public and private sector companies, medium and small enterprises, banks, chambers of commerce, organizations and associations.
The web site www.cameraitaloaraba.org offers information and databases, oriented to promote the development and the economic cooperation between Italy and the Arab countries.
Membership is open to companies and organizations based in Italy or in an Arab country.
